Go Eng Girl
Go Eng Girl is an annual event hosted by Dalhousie WiE. This free event invites students from grades 7 to 12 to Dalhousie Sexton Campus for a day to explore engineering disciplines and careers, gain an insight into university life and participate in a design competition. A separate session held for guardians helps answer questions and gain insight into the Dalhousie engineering program, financial support and accommodations.

Please note: Go Eng Girl 2024 registration is now closed. Unfortunately, we have reached our maximum registration capacity for Go Eng Girl 2024. We have had significantly more interest this year than we expected, and this event is completely student-run with a limited budget. As much as we would love to accommodate everyone who would like to attend, we unfortunately just don’t have the capacity to further expand registration this year. Please keep an eye out for registration in late October/early November next year, as we’d love to have your child attend!
Go Eng Girl 2024 will be held on November 23, 2024.
Go Eng Girl 2023
Go Eng Girl 2023 welcomed a record of over 110 students, 50 guardians and over 60 student volunteers. The members of the winning design competition team were each awarded a $1000 entrance scholarship to Dalhousie Engineering.
